Hello World

Hey there, welcome to my blog. I hope to fill this site with a variety of things, from development and coding to short fiction. I've been working on an idea for this for a long time, with a site that I previously developed many years ago, before I knew more about development and content management (not that I know all that much more now).

I've been working in tech for over 5 years now, recently getting a position as an information systems specialist for our local school district. In that time, I have learned so much about developing in many languages and for a variety of purposes.

However, I also have a love for fiction and want to stretch my imaginative side of the brain, as all I use is the analytical side professionally. I also hope to get some humor out. I like to think I'm funny (my wife would disagree).

So with all that said, I have some categories that I want to explore:

Nonsense. This will be just about anything I want to post in general. Random updates, dumb musings, and anything that doesn't fit into the other categories.

Developing in Public. These posts will be about development, usually about my journey and things I've learned. I hope to make some posts about progress on ideas I have or on things I've learned.

Fiction. These are things I made up. I'm a fan of fiction, having a novel in progress at all times. I really hope to explore of creativity along the way and flex some brain muscles that have been dormant for a while.

A Word. I will explore odd or unused words and create a post themed around that idea. This will also help my brain through creativity and things about a wide variety of things.

So to the zero people reading this, welcome.
